Singapore F1 Race

Singapore F1 - first night race.
Singapore’s bid to host Formula One’s first night race has entered the final race with only a few more obstacles to be overcome. It is almost there.

The event will be held at the Marina Bay area on Sept 28 2008. Work has begun on the construction phase of the pit lane building for the new Singapore grand prix , just over one year before the inaugural race. The facility along Singapore’s waterfront will hold 36 garages for 12 racing teams on the ground floor.

Singapore’s Integrated Resorts

The creation of Integrated Resorts and casinos in Singapore.
Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has announced that Singapore will have two integrated resorts with casinos. One will be built at Marina Bay and the other on Sentosa island. They will be ready and operational around 2009.

With the two integrated resorts , Singapore will attract investments in the order of $5b. And the economy is expected to create some 35,000 jobs , including 10,000 positions within the integrated resorts themselves.
